Changes to Games Day

And now dodo fans the moment you’ve all been waiting for the news about the all new and improved Games day.

Yes we have listened and we have acted!

Firstly Games day is on the move, it’s still going to be on the 15th Oct but it will now be held at the Darwin Community Centre, Fellmongers Hall, Frankwell and will now be running from 10am until 7.30pm. We have re-instated our participation games of which we shall have several running throughout the day as well as a Ticket to Ride Competition. And I can confirm we shall also have The Ministry of Gentlemanly Warfare there giving you a chance to play several of their historical tabletop skirmish games. All this and our usual selection of general gaming tables for you to either try a game or two from our growing games library or play some of your own favorite or indeed unplayed games.

Refreshments will be available and there will be our regular birthday raffle.

More news to come soon on which participation games will be on offer and prizes for our Ticket to Ride competition.

New dice and restocks

Good afternoon dodo fans!  ‘Tis I Darwin, everybody’s favourite dodo here with news, we have re-stocks!  We have dice!  Oh yes between my good self and young Winifred I think we’ve done ourselves proud.  Even if our copies of Luchador have ended up in Blackpool, wherever that is, fear not for even they should be here next week. And if they don’t someone’s in for a pecking!

We shall be open on Tuesday 7th, Wednesday 8th and Friday 10th June from 1pm and closed on Thursday 9th.

New Bits and Restocks!

By the Great Tambalacoque, what a to do, what a lot to do! Good afternoon dodo fans, ’tis I Darwin, your favourite dodo with news of new bits and restocks, but we have soooooo many. So without further to do here we go.

First new releases, and we welcome Kodama, Elder Sign (Grave Consequences) and Crabs Adjust Humidity 3,4 and 5.

Second games new to us, which include Sheriff of Nottingham, Automania, Marrying Mr Darcy the Emma and Undead expansions, Nyet!, Innovation (Echoes of the Past) and Sea of Clouds.

And finally restocks such as Ticket to Ride Europe and the India expansion, Innovation, Walk the Plank and Firefly Blue Sun and Breakin’ Atmo.

I need a lye down after all that lot.

New Bits and Restocks!

What-ho! It would appear that we have a collection of new bits and restocks wending their way to us. What larks eh! They shall include Loop Inc, Sandcastles, Tiny Epic Kingdoms and the TEK Hero’s Call expansion, My Happy Farm and the Queen’s Necklace.

Now that’s what I call a fair feast for the beak.

Dice restocks are in!

Good afternoon dodo fans! Winifred has told me that her latest order of dice are now in and they’re very pretty indeed, her words not mine. So come on up and get a beak full.

Yes folks we have restocks and new bits which are Pokemon XY9 Break boosters, Crabs Adjust Humidity 1 & 2, The Warren RPG, All of the 5th ed D&D Spell Decks and 5th ed Monster Manual, Ticket to Ride Europe and Epic Spell wars of the Battle Wizards.
