Colt Express : Bandits – Django

The principle of each one of these mini-expansions is to make the game play one Bandit.

A new story is told each time, since every expansion offers a specific purpose and new actions for the Bandit played by the game.

That Bandit may win, and in that case, all the players loose the game. Thus you need to work together against this “bot”. But do not forget that there is only one winner at the end: the richest Bandit, of course.

Each one of these expansions can be used with the base game Colt Express only. They are not compatible with each other, nor with any other expansions.

The man with a dynamite

Django shoots everything in sight. He can target several Bandits at once, and then give several Bullets in one Fire.

Django has always had a soft spot for Dynamite. He erratically drops sticks of dynamite in Cars.  He is able to make them explode all at once. Thus all the Bandits who are in the wrong place at the wrong time are ejected.

If he succeeds in ejecting every Bandit from the train at least once, Django wins the game.

Colt Express : Bandits – Cheyenne

The one who makes your life a misery

Cheyenne moves faster than anyone, and when she steals money, she takes a Purse from all the other Bandits.  Cheyenne has swapped her Colt for a bow. Beware, she’s a better shot with her arrows, especially as they are poisoned…

If you are shot with a Poisoned Arrow, you cannot win anymore, unless you get an Antidote before the end of the game.

Colt Express : Bandits – Belle

The principle of each one of these mini-expansions is to make the game play one Bandit.

The Gold Digger

Belle has always had a thing with jewels. Beware she may charm you to pinch yours…

Belle moves always towards the place where there are the most jewels.  She makes all the other Bandits move towards her location and steals a Jewel to each of them.  Even the Marshal has a crush on Belle. She can stay at the same place where he is, without fleeing nor getting shot.

Museum Rush

Players 2 – 4          Ages 14+          30 – 50mins

Museum Rush is a competitive thieving game in which players race against time to steal treasures from a museum while avoiding cameras, guards, and greedy rivals. Luckily these dastardly robbers have an array of items to help them get the better of the guards and their fellow thieves, such as sultry Llamas, mighty Underwear and the high-tech Cardboard Box.

Each player controls a thief, moving up to three tiles a turn. Then if they are on a tile with loot they can take a stealing action to grab some loot from the tile. Certain tiles have special “Rare Treasures” that are worth a lot more than standard loot, but you have to crack the lock code by rolling the correct numbers before you can steal these!

Each stealing action brings the nearest guard two spaces towards the thief’s tile. Trying to crack a lock does the same. After stealing, the next card in the room is turned up, which might reveal more treasure. But turn up a security camera and the guard moves another 2 spaces closer! If the guard ends up on the same tile as your thief, you can slip away with a dice roll or play cards like “Take Down” or “Lure” to get rid of the guard. Otherwise the thief is thrown out of the Museum and loses all card but one. The player can break in again so there is no player elimination in the game.

Each thief draws new cards at the beginning of their turns, these cards can be used to take out guards, disable security cameras and mess with the other thieves.

When you draw a Clock card, time will advance and once you draw a certain number of clocks, depending on the number of players, the game ends. At this point there is a rush to the nearest exit, rolling a dice to avoid dropping a card for every space you have to cover. The winner is determined by who has the highest value of loot at the game’s end, once you are outside the Museum.

Tiny Epic Western

Players 1 – 4          Ages 14+          30 – 45mins

The West is growing day by day, and you?re looking to stake your claim. To win, you have to gamble your relationships with the most powerful bosses in town to win influence. This influence comes in many forms: Law, Money and Force. If you?re clever enough, you?ll be able to take claim over the buildings in the ever growing boomtowns and gain powerful abilities. At the end of the day, the boss who has the best combination of wit and bluff will become the most powerful tycoon in the Wild Wild West.

The game is played in a series of rounds. Each round, poker cards are dealt between the locations, which are laid out in a circle. Players place posse members on these location cards, which will both give an action and count as a bid for the location?s valuable resources. Players also get a poker card of their own which uses the two adjacent cards from a location to form a three-card hand. This creates a clever mix of modern worker placement and poker that drives the game. In addition, players must manage their resources of Law, Money and Force to buy buildings and gunfight. If you have the highest stake in the most lucrative industry at the end, you will be rewarded bonus points. Add these points to the points you?ve collected from buying buildings and determine the winner! Yippie kay yay a!

The Networks

Players 1- 5           Ages 13+          60 – 90 mins

In The Networks, you and your opponents are new television networks, and you need new programming. For this, you’ll need Shows, Stars, and Ads.

Shows need Stars and Stars give you bonus viewers (points), and Ads give you extra money. You’ll need everything you can get; you’ll have a small amount of resources and time, and you must grab the latest hot show before your opponents.

Some Stars will give their best effort only if you put them on in the proper conditions. For example, some Stars only want to be put on dramas. Other Stars want to be the only Star on the show. And your Ads will give you the most money only if you put them on in the correct time slot.

Finally, Shows age and viewers lose interest, so you have to keep your line-up fresh by cancelling shows and sending them into reruns. Fortunately, you can get viewers from your reruns, and you’ll get bonuses if you get a lot of shows of the same genre throughout the game.

If you need a special push, Network Cards can give you special powers but will a Network Card be better than another action? You’ll have to make that call.

The player with the most viewers after five seasons wins!
