The Rival Networks is a standalone 2-player version of The Networks. It boasts quick, streamlined gameplay optimized for two players. It also comes with an “easy mode” that lets you play with people who might be intimidated by more complicated games. You don’t need to own or know how to play The Networks to play The Rival Networks.

Root: The Underworld Exp

Root

Root is a game of adventure and war where 2 to 4 players battle for control of a vast wilderness.

The nefarious Marquise de Cat has seized the great woodland, intent on harvesting its riches. Under her rule, the many creatures of the forest have banded together. This Alliance will seek to strengthen its resources and subvert the rule of Cats. In this effort, the Alliance may enlist the help of the wandering Vagabonds who are able to move through the more dangerous woodland paths. Though some may sympathize with the Alliance’s hopes and dreams, these wanderers are old enough to remember the great birds of prey who once controlled the woods.

Meanwhile, at the edge of the region, the proud, squabbling Eyrie have found a new commander who they hope will lead their faction to resume their ancient birthright.

The stage is set for a contest that will decide the fate of the great woodland. It is up to the players to decide which group will ultimately take root.

Village Green

Players 1 – 5          Ages 14+          30mins

It’s the first day of spring, and there’s only one thing on everyone’s mind — the Village Green of the Year competition! In just a few months, the judges of this prestigious contest will be visiting, and the village council have finally put you in charge of the preparations. With your newfound authority, you can show those snobs from Lower Aynesmore just what a properly orchestrated floral arrangement looks like!

In Village Green, you are rival gardeners, tasked by your respective communities with arranging flowers, planting trees, commissioning statues, and building ponds. You must place each element carefully as time is tight and the stakes couldn’t be higher! Split your days between acquiring and installing new features for your green and nominating it for one of the competition’s many awards. Will your village green become the local laughing stock, or make the neighboring villages green with envy?

Photosynthesis: Under the Moonlight

Photosynthesis core game required.

Bask in the moonlight of this beautiful expansion to Photosynthesis. As the moon moves in the opposite direction to the sun, new animals earn lunar points and activate their special abilities.

But be careful not to linger in the shadow of the Elder Tree…

How to play:

The Under the Moonlight expansion includes one main mode and two additional modes. Each mode can be used independently of one another or be combined.

  • The Moon and Forest Animals mode – the moon moves in the opposite direction to the sun and gives lunar points to the animals in the paths of the moonlight. Animals move in the forest and use lunar points to activate their abilities.
  • The Great Elder Tree – the Great Elder Tree is the soul of the forest. This ancient and massive tree casts a shadow onto all trees and animals, on the side opposite the sun AND the moon. These Trees cannot receive any light points and animals do not receive direct moonlight.
  • Moonstones – moonstones are mysterious gems that radiate the moonlight that lands on them. Animals around them then earn lunar points.

At the end of the game, players count their points following the Photosynthesis rules. In addition, they earn 1 scoring point for every unused lunar point.

The player with the most points wins the game.

IELLO’s Biblios is a 30 min card game for 2 to 4 players where each player is trying to make the most famous library through decoration, curation, and collection while balancing their gold coins.

A SUBTLE CARD GAME OF AUCTIONS AND HAND MANAGEMENT

As the head of a medieval monastery, your goal is to assemble the greatest book collection and build the most famous library. To that end, you need to acquire the necessary pigments for decorative lettering, hire the best copyists and reproduce the most precious works.

But you have only a limited amount of gold at your disposal to reach your goal. The trick is to part with the items in your collection at just the right time and to pay the lowest price for the works for which others will envy you. Finally, you must watch out for the bishops, who can ruin your plans on a whim!

In Biblios, victory points are obtained by being ahead in one or more of the following categories: monks, pigments, holy books, manuscripts, and forbidden tomes.
